6 years ago... We were invited to come to Wicklow to work along side Steve and Annette Morley in doing something new with the Church of the Nazarene in Ireland. We had worked in various Church roles with adults, teens, children at different times, and we both feel a strong call to work in the Church.
But this was different.
Moving to Wicklow was a chance for us to go beyond working for a church, it was an opportunity to BE the church in a new place, in a new way. Today, the Church in Wicklow is a great joy to be part of, and it looks a lot like a family. And we're also "stuck in" as they say, to a load of different projects and groups in the town, as we seek to show that the church can still be a relevant and important part of life in today's world.
